Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is an annual campaign to raise public awareness about sexual assault and educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence. In support of this campaign, TexasLawHelp.org has compiled civil legal information and resources that can help sexual assault survivors and educate communities. Civil legal issues frequently encountered by survivors of sexual assault include obtaining protective and restraining orders; making new family arrangements; addressing housing and employment issues; securing victim and public benefits; and connecting with medical and mental health aid.
