On Tuesdays, Justice Court No. 3 is at the Angelina County Zavalla Sub-Courthouse, 2219 N. John Redditt Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed for lunch 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.).

You might be able to make traffic payments online, read the Pay My Traffic Fine handout to learn how. Justice Court No. 3 accepts cashier’s checks, company checks, local personal checks, and money orders for civil filings.

No Titles are processed after 3:45 p.m. Contact the court for this information. There are four types of justice civil case types: small claims cases, debt claim cases, repair and remedy cases, and eviction cases.

Hearings must be set at least 30 days from the time the notice of hearing is mailed out. Contact the court for more information.

In all civil cases (except for evictions), parties must send all evidence they plan on presenting to the Court and opposing party by email, fax, or mail no later than 14 days before the hearing. All documents over three pages and pictures must be submitted by mail only. Faxed or emailed copies of pictures will not be accepted by the Court.
