Yes, subject to some exceptions. Bexar County Courts operate on Zoom. Parties to the suit can appear in person by filing a Zoom waiver.

You will also receive the virtual court information in your notice of hearing or fiat.  

In criminal cases, electronic filing is mandatory effective July 1, 2017.  

Pro se defendants may file electronically, but electronic filing is not required.

Bexar courts operate on a presiding system, meaning that the docket for hearing is rotating between judges.  

For criminal dockets, each Judge has the sole authority to set cases in the court. 

To schedule a hearing, you will need to contact the court coordinator. County Court 2’s court coordinator can be reached at (210) 335-2573. Visit the court’s webpage for the most up-to-date contact information. 

Bexar County Court 2, as part of the presiding criminal docket, will hold all non-jury hearings via Zoom, unless the parties submit a Zoom waiver. You can contact the court coordinator to request or arrange the Zoom information. 

Bexar County uses Odyssey to manage cases. Contact your court coordinator for more information on the submission of evidence.
