Travis County - Austin Legal Advice Clinic

One way that Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income people with their civil legal problems is through our evening legal advice and intake clinics. In partnership with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, we hold free legal advice clinics every Monday and Wednesday night (Travis County) as well as the first Tuesday of every month (Bastrop County) and the second Tuesday of every month (Hays County), except on holidays or during school breaks, at local middle schools and/or libraries.

Civil Legal Issues Only, Advice cannot be given for criminal or immigration matters:

  • Clinics are held every Monday and Wednesday

  • Must arrive between 6:00pm and 7:00pm

  • An intake form must be completely prior to getting help, only eligible Texas residents will be able to speak with an attorney
