Event Overview

They specialize in rapid-return, rapid-turnover legal assistance that accomplishes three goals for their unhoused clientele: to obtain access to housing, employment, and public benefits that will enable them to leave the streets and become self-sufficient. They handle a wide variety of legal matters, but the bulk of what they do is ID recovery (birth certificates/CRBAs, IDs/DL cards, replacement certificates of naturalization, and replacement lawful permanent resident cards), class C representation (including initial representation at trial, warrants recall, and conversion of fines to community service or waiver), expunctions/orders of non-disclosure, and Social Security (SOAR applications and denial appeals).

Schedule:

Unhoused clientele who reside in El Paso can submit applications for our services in-person on Tuesday and Thursdays. They are open from 8:00a - 12:00p, and from 1:00p - 5:00p.

For those that reside outside of El Paso, they can apply for their services by calling their Telephone Access to Justice hotline at 956.996.8752.
