Free Legal Advice Clinic for Veterans #TVLAW2025

Event Overview

Attorney volunteers will provide 30 minutes of brief legal advice. Veterans most often seek legal advice in the following areas: divorce, child support, custody, consumer, contracts, criminal, wills, estate planning, guardianship, probate, housing, landlord/tenant, and bankruptcy.

Eligibility Guidelines:

Veterans seeking legal advice must apply to attend the advice clinics. Eligibility will be determined by VLAP staff based on reviewing application through TAFJ guidelines.

*Attendees will not receive free legal advice or services until their application is approved, and an appointment has been scheduled with VLAP's staff.

*Walk-ins are welcome to arrive at events to receive help completing their application only.
