Since 1966, The Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) has been successfully matching clients who need legal services with lawyers who are interested and qualified to help with their legal issues. The LRS provides assistance for those looking for a private practicing lawyer. The lawyers on the LRS panel are screened for experience, are required to carry malpractice insurance, and are in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

LRS offers:

• Confidential telephone screening
• A referral to an appropriate community agency if that is what’s best for you
• A referral to a qualified lawyer if you need one
• An initial half-hour consultation with a lawyer for only $20
• More than 250 attorneys in most areas of the law
