Jefferson County Bar Association - Veterans Legal Initiative

The Veterans Legal Initiative is part of the statewide Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans (TLTV) initiative, a program begun by the State Bar of Texas and funded by The Texas Access to Justice Foundation (TAJF) to ensure that organized legal clinics exist throughout the state to specifically assist military veterans who cannot afford or do not have access to basic legal services. 

The Veterans Legal Initiative provides basic legal services to U.S. veterans and the spouses of deceased veterans through

• FREE legal advice clinics throughout the year.  

• Bi-monthly topic-specific legal seminars at the Beaumont VA Outpatient Clinic.  
• For veterans needing legal representation and who financially qualify, ProBono attorneys may be assigned.
