Equal Justice Center - Employment Justice
Partner Overview
The Equal Justice Center (EJC) advocates for workers’ rights by providing free legal representation to low-wage individuals who face employment law violations. The EJC offers support to workers who have not been paid, are denied minimum wage or overtime, have experienced workplace discrimination, including sexual harassment, or have faced retaliation for raising concerns about wages or conditions.

The EJC has also launched a program to help sexual assault survivors recover compensation and improve workplace security. EJC collaborates with service providers across Texas to support survivors and encourage employers to adopt preventative practices.
The EJC specializes in providing legal services to guest workers employed in the U.S. through temporary visa programs like H-2B, H-2A, and J-1, and offers representation to survivors of labor trafficking.
