Client Attorney Assistance Program - CAAP
Partner Overview
The Client Attorney Assistance Program (CAAP) is a confidential statewide dispute resolution service of the State Bar of Texas. CAAP’s objective is to facilitate communication and foster productive dialogue between Texas lawyers and their clients in an effort to assist them in resolving minor concerns, disagreements, or misunderstandings that are impacting the Attorney-Client relationship.

CAAP can provide information about the disciplinary process, as well as direct you to other resources that might better serve your issues and concerns.
Most importantly, CAAP may be able to help before you file a grievance! Although CAAP and the grievance process may not be used at the same time, the trained mediators of CAAP can offer proven self-help methods promoting effective communication skills and strategies that may help you solve the problem yourself.
CAAP has no authority over Judges, Magistrates, Law Enforcement or Jail officials and cannot contact them on your behalf. Please see the following list of resources that may be useful to you: Inmate Resources.
