How do I add a virtual background during my Zoom meeting?

During your call, tap your screen to pull up the meetings controls toolbar and tap the More ••• icon. Then tap Backgrounds & Effects and select the virtual background of your choice to change your background. It will automatically change in the meeting.

How do I set up a virtual background before my Zoom meeting?

To set up your background before a meeting, go to the More ••• tab on the bottom-right corner of your screen, then tap Meeting Settings. Once you have accessed your Meeting Settings, scroll to the Video section and select Backgrounds & Effects. In the background & effects menu, there will be options for preloaded virtual backgrounds, the blurred background feature, and even an option for uploading your own background image.

To leave your selected background image for all meetings, make sure the Keep Virtual Background For option is set to “All meetings.”

Note: Some of these features depend on system requirements. Make sure you’re running the latest version of Zoom on your device.
