Free Meals For Students During School COVID-19 Closures

This article provides information on Texas school districts that are providing meals for their students during Spring Break and school closures related to COVID-19.  

Texas School Districts Offering Free Meals to Students

The Texas Education Agency, in partnership with the Office of the Governor and Texas Department of Agriculture, has launched a MealFinder Map for families to find free school meals, both breakfast and lunch, for pick-up while school buildings are closed during the coronavirus outbreak. Caregivers can now visit the Meal Finder Map here. Note that the TX Department of Agriculture has been approved to develop a plan that that will soon allow parents to pick up free school meals without their kids present.
