Note: In some counties you may need a court order before the clerk will issue citation by posting. If needed, you may use the forms below to ask for a court order. File the Motion for Citation by Posting form with the above Affidavit for Citation by Posting form in the district clerk’s office. Ask the clerk when you can take your proposed Order on Motion for Citation by Posting to the Judge. If the Judge signs your Order on Motion for Citation by Posting, file it in the district clerk’s office and ask the clerk to issue citation by posting.
