Investigates employment discrimination complaints.

Mission Statement:  THe Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is the federal agency charged with enforcement of federal laws which prohibit employment discrimination, including Title VII of the Civil Rightss Act of 1964; the Equal Pay Act; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act: Title I of the Americans with Disabilites Act; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and sections of the CIvil Rights Act of 1991.

This group provides the following types of services based on your legal needs and its resources:
 
  Full Legal Representation- only after complete investigation of charge, cause is found, conciliation fails, and approval/authority is granted fron EEOC Headquarters.
  Self-Help Materials- May be obtained from the EEOC website.
  Other- Government agency providing employment discrimination investigation services and, at their discretion, legal follow up
